How to Build Personal Resilience with Positive Leadership

Goodbye 2022: I’m leaving you for 2023

Are you or someone you know having a bad case of pandemic fatigue? Maybe you are worried about the future in the “new normal”? It seems like the world has gone NUTS in the past few years! Many of us are suffering from acute stress due to the loss of work, relationships … for some really unfortunate ones, maybe even the loss of a loved one.

NUTS is an acronym to describe acute stress. It stands for: 1) newness of the experience because few of us have ever lived through anything like the last couple of years; 2) the uncertainty of the outcome … none of us really know what the new normal will look like; 3) threat to ego as in we cannot believe this is happening to us; and 4) the lack of sense of control.

Acute stress is our reaction to a real or perceived threat to our safety or well being. Human beings are wired to experience the stress response through fight, flight or freeze. Stress knocks us out of homeostatic balance and produces cortisol, which negatively impacts the mind, body and bahaviour.

This five-hour Online Workshop is your invitation to make 2023 and beyond the best year of your life by learning how to build your own personal resilience. Benefits include more effective and efficient management of stress, lower anxiety, more self-awareness and increased clarity of vision.

We will explore and learn how to expand our mental health continuum, which is a combination of distress and quality of life. For optimum balance, a low level of stress combined with a high quality of life is best.

What is personal resilience? It’s a combination of surviving and thriving. To survive is the ability to bounce back in the face of adversity: to thrive is doing what matters most such as optimizing health and wellbeing and engaging in intentional practices, routines and habits.

Also, we will learn to let go of that which doesn’t serve us: stress, limiting beliefs, grief, and negative emotions. We will focus on reprograming our spirit, mind and body.

I'm sure before Robin and I worked together he would not have boasted about his ability to develop a pageant queen into successful website-creating, pageant coaching, public speaking, and workshop building entrepreneur, but yet he did! His DREAM Master Key can be applied to any individual and to any goal. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have met and worked with Robin, and I know I will continue to utilize the tools, skills, and knowledge that he bestowed upon me in my future endeavors.
